That viral Sydney funnel web video got me checking every shoe

Saw that clip of the funnel web crawling out of a dude's thong at Bondi and now I can't put on runners without flipping them upside down first. It happened Tuesday, I spent a full 10 minutes shaking out my work boots at 6am like a madman. My missus laughed at me but then she found a huntsman in the laundry basket and screamed louder than I've ever heard. Anyone else suddenly paranoid after watching those spider trend videos or am I just losing it?

Last Tuesday I found a redback in my garden glove and nearly threw it into the neighbour's yard. Tbh now I do the whole upside-down shoe shake before I even touch my thongs, and I check under the toilet seat like it's a spider hotel. You're not losing it, once you see one of those funnel web clips your brain just never switches off the scan mode.
