Yeah the "kick the can down the road" thing is so real. My old shop was like that, they'd clear codes and call it good. I got tired of it and just started doing the full diag myself, even if it took longer. Found a bad injector driver on a truck everyone else said was "fine" last week. It sucks but you gotta be the one to actually look.

Honestly, @the_matthew has a point about wasted time adding up. People forget how much mental energy you burn double-checking every little measurement by hand.

Maybe the bots are just training us to be better friends to each other.

Remember my buddy who tried to save cash on a sander? He got halfway through his basement and the thing just quit, left these awful swirl marks everywhere. He had to go over every inch by hand with a sanding block, took him forever. I swear he looked ten years older after that weekend.

Guess @jamie_white just proved the weight is mightier.
