Did the Four Pass Loop outside Aspen in 3 days and day 2 broke me
We hit Buckskin Pass at 6am with clear skies and by 1pm a hailstorm rolled through while we were crossing the Snowmass Creek valley, soaking everything in my pack including my sleeping bag. I made the dumb call to push on to Geneva Lake instead of setting up early, and by the time we got there I was shivering so bad I could barely get my stove lit. What do you all do when weather turns on you mid loop, bail to lower ground or just wait it out?
