A comment about my caption length doubled my reach in 3 days
Some rando on a photography thread told me my captions were too long and confusing. I trimmed them from 150 words to about 60, adding one clear call to action like 'what do you think?' and posted from Chicago at 7pm. My last 4 posts averaged 800 views, now the one after that change hit 1,600. Anyone else find shorter captions actually boost comments more than likes?

That whole "what do you think?" call to action is probably doing more than the shorter captions. People need a direct question to feel invited to answer, so that one small change makes sense for the jump. Also, posting at 7pm in Chicago might have caught a busier time for your audience, which could be a bigger factor than the word count.
