Question about switching from longer videos to quick clips on my feed
I mostly posted one or two minute project videos for a while, but then I noticed my views were getting really low. I started cutting them down to just the best twenty seconds, and my shares went way up (it was kind of surprising). I think the apps really want you to stick around for the full clip now. Has cutting things down helped anyone else get seen more?
The thing people miss is that more shares doesn't always mean a better audience. You might get eyes on the clip, but they won't remember who made it. I switched back to longer stuff because the shorter viewers never stuck around.
Ever think about how much harder it is to edit those tight twenty second clips? Making every single frame count is a pain in the butt compared to just letting a longer video breathe.
