Appreciation post: Found a whole wall of old TV guides at my local library in Tacoma
I was dropping off some books and saw they had a display of TV guides from the 90s, which really hit me how we used to plan our whole week around what was on. Now I can watch an entire show's season in a weekend if I want, but there was something fun about that old way of waiting. Do you ever miss that feeling of having to wait for the next episode?

Man, tell me about it. I still remember planning my whole Friday night around TGIF because if you missed it you were basically out of the loop for the whole weekend. Now I just binge a whole season of something and forget what happened by Tuesday.

Oh totally! It built up this crazy excitement, like waiting for the new episode of Friends on Thursday night. You'd talk about it with friends at school all week, guessing what would happen. Now the whole show just drops and the buzz is gone in two days. That shared waiting made it feel bigger.
