Just finished a show in two days using a weird trick my friend told me.

I was stuck on a long, slow drama for weeks. My friend said to try watching it at 1.25x speed for the boring parts. I did it for the first season of 'The Crown'. Got through six hours of setup in about five. It kept the story moving without losing the plot. Now I'm hooked and finished the whole thing. Anyone else use speed settings to get into a tough show?

Yeah, I read an article about how a lot of people do this now. It's basically the only way I can get through some of those slower prestige dramas.

Oh totally, @brian_rivera59. I put so many shows on 1.5x speed now. It just makes the boring parts fly by.
