Streaming setup failed during a storm in Portland, had to wing it

I was mid-binge on a rainy Tuesday in Portland when the power flickered and my whole setup went dark, not just the TV but the router too. Turns out my surge protector was old and the breaker tripped, so I spent 20 minutes resetting everything while my popcorn went cold. I finally got it back up but the episode had autoplayed into something random, so I had to rewind to find where I left off. Anyone else ever lose their place like that and just give up for the night?
