Tried to find a show to watch with my wife and it took us two whole nights
We sat down Friday ready to watch something new, but spent an hour just scrolling through Netflix and Hulu. Every time one of us picked something, the other would say 'maybe not that' after reading the description. We finally settled on a show called 'The Diplomat' on Saturday, after wasting our whole Friday evening. Has anyone else had this problem of taking forever to just pick something?

Actually enjoy the whole process of picking a show. That back and forth with my wife is part of the fun, like a little pre game before we watch anything. It means we're both going to be into whatever we finally choose, instead of one person just giving in. Spending time talking about options feels like hanging out, not wasted time. You ended up with a good show, so the search worked.

Honestly the worst part is when you finally pick something and it turns out bad after all that. Like you spend two nights picking a show, watch ten minutes, and realize it's terrible. That's when it feels like a total loss. Happened to us with some spy show last month, total snooze fest. Makes you wish you just flipped a coin at the start.
