Two years of bad welds until I saw my ground clamp
Been grinding and redoing welds for forever. Turns out my ground clamp was barely hanging on to that rusty table corner. Anybody else find out they were fighting their own setup for months?

Picked up a fresh ground clamp and bolted a clean spot on the table directly to the work piece. Night and day difference, no more arc blow or spatter everywhere. Also started keeping a dedicated spot on the table ground clean with a wire wheel before each session. I wasted probably a whole spool of wire chasing bad connections. Now I check that ground first thing whenever something feels off.
