Am I the only one who thinks Gloomhaven is way overrated compared to Spirit Island?
I finally got around to playing Gloomhaven after all the hype, and after 5 sessions I just felt bogged down by all the setup and bookkeeping. Spirit Island gives me that same brain-burning puzzle feel but with way less clutter and a tighter 90 minute play time at my local shop in Denver. Is the complexity of Gloomhaven really worth it for most groups, or are people just in love with the legacy stuff?

Man I feel this... 5 sessions in and we still had to look up rules every 10 minutes. Spirit Island hits that same puzzle itch but actually feels playable.

Spirit Island's a beast @dixon.spencer, I just stack the modifiers and hope for the best.
