That recent Atlantic article highlighted how amplified drama actually shapes community NORMS. They pointed out that even playful exaggeration can accidentally validate HARMFUL behaviors, which @brian_thompson might find relevant. Calling it "just for fun" oversimplifies the whole DYNAMIC.
