TIL the 'beer and pretzels' game my group scoffed at is now our go-to

Back in February, my buddy Craig brought over this silly dexterity game where you flick wooden discs onto a tiered board. I figured it would last one night, but we've played it every Friday for two months straight. Last week we even had a 6-person tournament with a $20 pot. Has anyone else had a game they dismissed as too light become their group's favorite?

We went through the same thing with a push your luck dice game, it sat on the shelf for months. Once we actually tried it with the right group, the trash talk got so heated we started keeping a scoreboard on the fridge. The trick is to lean into the chaos and set a house rule that adds a twist, like loser buys the next round of snacks. That little stake makes people care way more than you'd expect.

Hold on @jana119, you're telling me a snack bet turned a dice game into a fridge scoreboard situation?
