Our club kept arguing past 10pm, so I tried a 4 minute sand timer and it worked
We meet at a diner in Boise and our last pick, a 600 page history book, turned into a shouting match about the ending. I brought a little sand timer from my kitchen and told everyone you get 4 minutes to talk, then you pass it. Last Tuesday we got through the book and still had time to order pie, and even Dana, who never stops talking, said it was the calmest talk we have had. What small thing made your group's talks less of a fight?
