Talked to my grandpa and realized I've been overcomplicating everything
I was visiting my grandpa last weekend and he asked what I've been up to. I started rambling about all these new tools and apps I use for my HVAC calls, tracking jobs on my phone, scheduling software, the whole deal. He just laughed and said 'Son, I did 40 years with a notebook and a pencil, and my customers never complained once.' It hit me different because he's not wrong. I spend more time messing with tech than actually fixing stuff sometimes. Has anyone else gone back to a simpler way of doing things and found it worked better?
