I got blocked by 47 accounts in one night and honestly I feel accomplished
Last Tuesday I went down a rabbit hole on some crypto discord, just poking at the profiles that kept posting the same 'guaranteed 10x' script. Figured I'd call out the obvious bots for fun. Woke up the next morning to 47 blocked notifications. All from accounts made in the last 2 weeks with 3 followers each.
Here is the part that bugs me though. Two of the accounts I was SURE were bots actually replied like real people. One guy sent me a voice message talking about his kid. So now I don't know if I just roasted 45 bots and 2 dudes in a basement somewhere.
Where do you all draw the line? Post age? Reply speed? Or do you just go with your gut and accept you might be wrong sometimes?
The voice message thing is what gets me. Bots can fake a lot now but a guy talking about his kid in a voice note is way harder to script, unless it's some kind of high effort setup. That makes me think your gut was probably right on the other 45 and those 2 were just real people caught in the same spot, maybe running the same promo script because someone handed it to them. So the line for me isn't post age or reply speed, it's whether they say anything that doesn't fit the script, like a random voice note or a weird typo that no copy paste would have.
