That free browser add-on for checking fake pics beat the $20 a month tool I tried, and I am still mad about it
I run a small buy and sell page on the side and fake accounts keep hitting my listings, so I tried the paid tool first because it had a nice site and a free trial that auto charged me 20 bucks a month. I used it for 6 weeks and it flagged almost everything as fake, including my own sister's profile pic, which is literally her standing in front of her car in Fresno. Last month a mod in my group told me to try a plain old browser add-on that checks image history, and it cost me nothing. I ran both on the same 40 profiles I had saved and the free one caught 31 of them as stolen pics, stuff pulled from a stock site and an old Pinterest board, while the paid one missed 12 of those and just guessed on the rest. The free one also shows where the pic first showed up, so I can screenshot it and drop it in my report instead of just saying it feels off. The paid tool never gave me anything I could point to, just a red or green label with no reason. If you run a group or a page, what are you actually using to check pics, because I am not paying for a mood ring again.
