Hot take: that $2,000 'ambassador' deal from a skincare brand last month was just a 40% off code and free product
They emailed me from a gmail account in LA saying I was handpicked out of thousands, then asked for my social security number for 'tax purposes' before I ever saw a contract. Did anyone else get hit by that same template this spring, or is it just me?
Spot the gmail address and the SSN ask and you're done, no real brand does that before a contract. I got the same template in March and just hit report, so don't send them a single thing.
