That Kroger app update turned my grocery list into a scavenger hunt

Last Saturday I went to the Kroger on Dixie Highway in Louisville and their app had a fresh update that moved the barcode scanner to some menu buried under settings. I stood in the checkout line for 10 minutes tapping around while the cashier waited, and then my digital coupons just straight up vanished from the cart. The manager came over and said they had been getting complaints all week about the new layout, and he manually typed in my member number to fix the prices. It finally worked, but I was that person holding up the line over a stupid app change they never even announced. Has anyone else had a grocery store update wreck their routine like this, or is Kroger the only one who thinks silent redesigns are a good idea?
