inGot told I was 'over brushing' my flues - changed up my whole technique
That scratchy finish is the worst, makes sealing a total nightmare for sure.

inPSA: That time I forgot to restock my station on a Saturday night service in Chicago
Oh actually I gotta jump in here real quick... it wasn't just salt and pepper. I read that same story on the line cook subreddit, the guy specifically said he used a garlic salt blend he found in the back, not regular salt and pepper. That makes a huge difference with a quick sear like that cause you don't have time for the flavors to develop naturally. And he also said he patted the ribeye dry with paper towels first, which is probably why the crust turned out so good. Without that step, the meat would've just steamed and been grey and sad looking. So yeah, the panic fix worked but it was more than just a last minute seasoning job.

inSpent $60 on a meal prep Sunday and it saved me $200 on takeout by Thursday
Leftovers you toss" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there, Patricia. People always act like meal prep is this magic money printer but they ignore the sad Tupperware of last week's quinoa that's basically a science experiment now. I track my spending pretty close and honestly most of the "savings" disappear into the black hole of ingredients you bought for one recipe and never touched again. It's not that serious though, if someone wants to believe they saved $200 let them have their little spreadsheet victory.

inShoutout to the PR guy who told me to just apologize and shut up
Didn't I learn that lesson after my own three-paragraph apology turned into a five-paragraph disaster?

inWhy does nobody talk about how air fryers wreck frozen pizza crusts?
@umathomorrow my airfryer once caught on fire trying this, but the pizza was worth it.
