The influencer apology left out the real problem and I actually get why
I saw a skincare brand last Tuesday get roasted for a refund mess where they promised store credit but only gave 10% off codes. Everyone online is furious they apologized to the wrong crowd, but I think they did the right thing by not admitting the formula change that caused the breakout. The PR team probably killed that part to avoid a lawsuit, which is smart even if it looks shady. I was at my desk in Austin watching the whole thread blow up in an hour, and honestly, the real fix would've been a direct email to buyers, not a public video. Has anyone else seen a brand quietly dodge the core issue and kind of succeed because of it?
