Found a butcher shop near me that sells 'scrap bags' for $5

Stopped by Miller's Meat Market in Austin last Tuesday and they had bags of offcuts and trimmings for five bucks. Used them for stews and stir-fries all week, saved like $30 on meat. Anyone else got a spot that does this?

And here I thought I was being clever by chasing down the grocery store manager to ask when they mark down the day-old steaks. Now you're telling me I could have just spent five bucks on mystery meat scraps that probably came from a cow that was already halfway to being a taco. I bet Miller's throws in a free hoof or two for good luck.

Wait, wait, wait - you're telling me Miller's actually sells mystery meat scraps for five bucks? I've been walking past that section for years thinking it was just weird looking dog food or something. The thought of getting a free hoof makes me both laugh and cringe at the same time (though hooves are probably worth more than the actual meat at that price). I can't decide if chasing the grocery store manager makes you more desperate or more dignified than us mystery meat people. Maybe we're all just paying different prices for the same questionable cow.

Wait, is this a real thing or are you guys messing with me? I mean, I've bought some sketchy stuff from the discount bin before but never anything I'd call "mystery meat scraps." I feel like you're either saving major cash or signing up for a food poisoning adventure, no in between.
