DAE think the 'latte factor' advice is just rich people math?
I was waiting for my oil change in Toledo last Saturday and this guy next to me starts going on about how his nephew cut out a $6 coffee every day and 'saved $40,000.' I did the math in my head and that only works if the kid is skipping coffee for like 18 years straight, which is not how anybody actually lives. Meanwhile rent in my old neighborhood went up $300 a month and nobody wants to write an article about that. What's the biggest 'small win' you actually pulled off that didn't need a decade to add up?
