Hit 1,000 bullets in one notebook and I want to throw it in the trash
Just finished filling my 4th Leuchtturm since January and the page count came out to 1,014 entries. Sounds impressive until you flip through it and see 600 of them are the same 3 tasks I just kept rewriting every morning. I think the 'one notebook, one year' thing everyone pushes is actually a trap, because I've been copying stuff forward instead of doing it. Has anyone else hit a number this dumb and realized the system was hiding their procrastination?
Oh man, 1,014 entries and 600 are reruns is painfully real. My worst was a planner where I logged "gym" like 40 times in a row and went maybe twice, so basically I was just journaling about the person I wished I was. The copy it forward thing is sneaky too because it feels productive even when nothing moves. Mine got better when I started marking undone tasks with a big X instead of a new line, way harder to lie to yourself that way.
