I finally stopped buying $6 washi tape samplers from big box stores

Bought a $38 roll of Japanese washi from a little stationery shop in Portland last month and it lays flat with zero curling, which made me admit the cheap stuff was costing me more in re-dos, so what's your one supply you'd actually pay full price for again?
