My weekly spread actually worked for a crazy busy week
Last week I had three doctor appointments, a school project due, and my car needed repairs, which usually means my journal becomes a mess of scribbles. I tried a new two-page layout with color-coded columns for each person in the family, and for once, nothing got missed. What's your go-to setup when you know a week is going to be packed?

Color coding sounds like a lot of extra work for no real payoff. A simple list on a scrap of paper has never failed me when things get crazy. All that fancy setup just seems like a way to avoid actually doing the tasks.

Tell that to my lost scrap of paper, @derek656.

It's the same argument people have about digital calendars versus paper ones. Some folks just refuse any system that looks like extra steps, even if it saves time later. They'd rather hunt for that lost scrap forever than spend five minutes setting up something reliable. It's a weird pride in struggling through the chaos instead of fixing it.
