My business partner confused profit with cash in the bank, and it almost killed us
My business partner and I ran a small print shop in Columbus, and last spring he saw $18,000 in our account and wanted to hand out bonuses. I had to show him that $12,000 of that was already owed to a paper supplier and payroll was due in 6 days. Anyone else had to explain the gap between profit on paper and real money you can spend?
