Saw a storefront in Columbus with a hand written "cash only" sign and a line out the door, made me think about card fees
Walked past a little taco spot on High Street in Columbus last weekend and noticed a taped up sign saying cash only with a line of 15 people waiting. The owner was ringing people up on a $40 calculator and a lockbox, and I started doing the math on what she saves not paying 2.6% plus 10 cents a swipe. Is anyone else seeing small shops go back to cash only, or is this just a local thing?
