A guy at a Toledo gas station used 'slam' as a verb for parking and now I hear it everywhere
I was at a Speedway off I-75 in Toledo about 3 weeks ago and the guy behind the counter asked if I "slammed" out front or parked in back. I had no clue what he meant and just stared at him. He laughed and said it means parking fast and close, like slamming the car into a spot. Now I catch it in texts from my nephew and in a couple of comment sections. Is this spreading past northwest Ohio or is it just a local thing?
