Everyone keeps using 'mid' for stuff that isn't even mid, it just means they don't like it
Heard three guys at a coffee shop in Austin last week call a perfectly good breakfast taco 'mid' because it had too much onion. If everything is mid, then nothing is, and the word stops meaning anything.

Does the word even mean anything to the person saying it, or is it just a noise they make when they want to sound unimpressed? What would they call a taco that actually was bad?
