My old lead in Tulsa said never trust the tap test on a drop ceiling, and he was dead right
Spent 20 minutes chasing a bad signal upstream when the real problem was a nicked coax sitting right above a tile that looked fine from below. Has anyone got a better way to spot crushed cable behind a finished ceiling?

Ever try poking a borescope through an existing tile hole instead of pulling everything down? That and a cheap TDR meter have saved me way more time than the tap test ever did.
