Spent $80 on a good pair of knee pads and it was the best money I ever wasted
I used to just use the cheap foam ones the company gave us, but after a week of crawling in a tight attic in July, my knees were killing me. I went to the hardware store and grabbed a pair of the gel filled ones with a hard cap. They were about eighty bucks, which felt like a lot for pads. The first day I wore them on a rewire job, I didn't even think about my knees once. They don't slide around, and the gel takes the hit off the floor joists. I've had them for six months now and they still feel new. It's one of those things you don't know you need until you try it. What other gear have you guys bought that made the daily grind way easier?
