That panel in a drop ceiling that took me 4 hours to fish one line through
Had a job last month at an old school in Ogden. Ran into a suspended ceiling grid where someone had laid cables every which way over the years. I needed to get one Cat6 from one end to the other. Figured 20 minutes tops. Four hours later I had pulled out three dead snakes, a coax loop back to itself, and a zip tie wrapped around every single data cable. Who actually signs off on these installs.

Dude been there, had to rerun a dozen drops in a church attic that looked like a spiderweb of old alarm wire.

Real talk though, what kills me is that nobody ever labels anything. You find a bundle of cables, trace one to a wall jack, and the other end is just a mystery floating in the ceiling void. I spent an extra hour on a job last year because the previous guy had left every single wire cut flush with the box with no slack. Who does that. Did they just walk away and say "good enough"?
