DAE count their gear pile? I hit 47 pieces and finally got honest with myself
I laid out every single thing I own for camping on the garage floor in Denver last Saturday and counted 47 items, which is insane for a guy who camps maybe 6 times a year. The real kicker was 11 of those pieces are stoves or cook kits, I have a whole tote just for fire starters, and I still catch myself reading reviews for another one at 11pm. I started taking photos of the pile before every trip now so I can see what I actually grabbed versus what just sat in the bin for a year. What number is your gear pile at, and be honest, how much of it has not left the shelf since 2023?
