Shoutout to the 3-season bag I used in Colorado last fall over my old all-season one

The lighter fill and better footbox design kept me warm without the bulk, and I actually slept through the night. Anyone have a go-to for that 20-40 degree F range?

That point about actually sleeping through the night is huge. I used to just tough it out in my old bag, but being warm enough to stay asleep changes everything. It's not just about the rating, it's about the design keeping drafts out. A good draft collar and a proper hood seal make more difference than a few extra ounces of fill for me.
