The 2019 cookbook scandal made me question every influencer recipe

Last month I found an old cookbook from a canceled food blogger who got exposed for stealing recipes. I tried one of her pasta dishes and it was actually good, which felt weird. Then I realized the recipe was probably lifted from a classic Italian cookbook anyway. Now I check every influencer recipe against a regular cookbook before I trust it. Does anyone else do reverse searches on recipe photos before cooking?

Recipe photos are usually staged, that doesnt mean the food is bad though.
