Finally hit 1000 mock interviews on my resume site
I’ve been doing free resume reviews and mock interviews on the side for like 6 months now, and last week I hit 1000 people helped. Never thought I’d get that many, honestly it started just as a way to keep my skills sharp after a layoff. Anyone else do something similar and find it actually boosted your own career confidence?

Wait, is that the real risk here - that I've just been spending hundreds of hours telling people the same three interview stories and now I sound like a broken record at my own job interviews? I hadn't thought about that, but it does explain why my go-to "how I handled a difficult coworker" answer has basically turned into a scripted monologue. My wife says I even start nodding the same way when I tell it now, like I'm watching myself from the ceiling.

Helping people is fine and all but honestly doing mock interviews that much might just reinforce your own bad habits if you're not careful... you're the one giving the same answers over and over while they get fresh practice each time. Not sure it does much for your own confidence long term.
