Spent $150 on a resume writer and it actually got me an interview

My old resume was just a list of my trucking jobs and it never got a call back. Paid a guy online who works with blue collar fields to redo it, focusing on my safety record and on-time stats. Has anyone else had luck with a pro writer for a non-office job?

Wait, you spent a hundred and fifty bucks? I mean that's a lot for a piece of paper. But I guess it worked if you got the interview.

Honestly, I was right there with you, @williams.kim. I used to think it was crazy to pay for that. But getting mine done actually made me see my own work in a whole new way.

My buddy paid over $200 for a resume service last year and it got him zero calls. Sometimes it's about how you frame your experience, not just fancy paper. You're right, @williams.kim, the price seems high, but if it lands the job it pays for itself. Did they at least give you multiple drafts or just one version?
