Overheard a senior dev say 'just learn the framework' and it hit me how much career advice has changed in 10 years.
Back in 2015 everyone was yelling at me to master the fundamentals like data structures first, but now this guy at lunch said just pick React and figure out the rest on the job, so I'm wondering which path actually gets you hired faster in 2025.

The framework crowd wins the hiring game every time right now. Companies want someone who can ship features on day one, not someone who can draw a perfect binary tree. You can always circle back and fill in the fundamentals later, honestly.
