Changed my mind about using a standard utility knife for cutting carpet pad.

For years I just used a fresh blade in my regular knife, thinking it was fine. Last month I had a big job in a new apartment complex, about 30 units. I borrowed a hook blade knife from another installer on site to try it. The hook blade didn't snag the pad foam at all and gave me a much cleaner, faster cut. I finished prepping those pads in half the time. Now I won't go back to a straight blade for pad work. Anyone have a favorite brand for those hook blades?

Wait, are we talking about the same red hook blades? I had one go dull just cutting some 12/2 Romex last week. It barely made it through a whole spool of MC cable before it was done.

That was probably a knockoff blade, not the real Milwaukee.
