Savvy trick saved me 2 hours on this tricky L-shaped staircase

I was fighting with a bullnose transition on a tricky L-shaped staircase last week, and just by pure accident I tried pre-cutting my seam tape into 8-inch strips before starting the glue job. Anybody else ever try this approach, or do you have a better method for those tight corners?

Love when accidents turn into life hacks (even if it means eating a few tape strips first).

Grabbed a roll of packing tape off the shelf once and accidentally used it to fix a frayed shoelace that kept tripping me up. Lasted a solid two weeks before I replaced them proper. Then I started using a tiny piece to keep loose buttons from falling off until I could get a needle and thread. It works way better than you'd think for temporary fixes, just gotta make sure you cut the strip short enough so it doesn't peel up on your clothes. Have you tried it for anything beyond emergency repairs?
