Vent: I tried that 'stretching a room dry' method on a 15x20 in a Phoenix summer house and the whole thing buckled after 2 days.

I mean, the homeowner insisted they'd seen it done online to save time, and against my better judgment I went along with it, but now I'm looking at a full redo because the power stretcher heat and moisture from the pad are what actually lock it in, right?

Ask the client if they'd skip the glue on their floor tiles, like @josephbutler learned the hard way.

My last job in Tucson had a client demand the same thing on a 12x18. The pad shrank back a full inch from every wall by the next morning, it was a total mess. You just can't cheat the power stretcher in dry heat.

I used to think you could force it, but that exact thing happened to me once.
