I finally nailed the Lakeview parking permit game after 3 tickets

Moved here in March and kept getting nailed for not moving my car on street cleaning days, even though I thought I read the signs right. Turns out the trick is to check the Ward's official schedule online instead of the physical signs, since they update it a week ahead for construction reroutes. Has anyone else found that the permit zone maps on the city site are way more reliable than what's posted on the actual poles?

Three tickets in six months sounds more like a learning curve than a parking war. Maybe just set a reminder on your phone and move on.

Man, I had a coworker who got towed twice before he realized the city app has a live map that shows exactly where the street sweepers are that day. He was fuming about the poles being wrong, but the online thing saved him after that. You might have saved me from making the same mistake, so thanks for posting this.
