@williams.kim you're right about the machine stuff, but you got the year wrong by a bit.

Fair enough but I actually prefer a slight slope in my beds so water doesn't pool up around the roots. Level looks clean but I've had more issues with rot on perfectly flat surfaces. A half inch drop across the length works better for drainage in my experience.

People get pretty intense about notebook methods for something that's basically just scribbling thoughts down. Seems like as long as it gets written, it's working fine.

Read something similar over on r/photography the other day actually. Someone let their copyright lapse on a whole series of wedding photos they'd sold to a venue. The venue ended up having to pull down all their online galleries and reprint their brochures. Crazy how fast things fall apart when you miss a date.

Yeah the whole life hack thing has gotten so ridiculous. I saw one that said to use a garlic press for crushing pills and I'm like that's just a bad idea waiting to happen. The fake ones get all the attention while something actually useful like putting a wooden spoon over a boiling pot to stop it from spilling over gets buried. At this point I just assume every hack is fake until I personally test it.
