I swapped my car for an e-bike for a month and my electric bill only went up $8.
I mean, I thought charging it every night would cost way more, but it's basically nothing compared to what I was spending on gas, so maybe it's just me but has anyone else made a switch that seemed small but added up?

Wait, only $8 for a whole month of charging? That's insane.

Right? I switched to a slow cooker and my power bill barely moved, but I was spending way less on takeout.

Totally agree with you @jamie_white. I had the same thing happen when I started using my pressure cooker more. The electric bill part was a nice surprise, but the real win was how much easier it was to just cook at home. I'd get home tired and the idea of starting dinner felt like too much, but now it's just done. What's your favorite kind of thing to make in the slow cooker?
