Bought a $120 'cancel-proof' candle, got cancelled by my own nose
That influencer kept pushing this candle as 'untouchable' after her brand drama, so I caved and ordered one. It smelled like burnt microwave popcorn and my cat refused to enter the living room for 3 days, anyone else fall for a comeback product that flopped harder than the original scandal?

Been there with a skincare set from some youtuber who swore her "redemption line" was different. Spent 80 bucks and my face broke out in tiny bumps for a week. My roommate still brings it up whenever I say I might buy something online. It's like these people know we want to believe in the comeback so bad that we ignore every red flag. Sorry about your cat though, that part really stings because pets don't lie about smells.
