That local news anchor I used to watch every night at 6 just vanished from the station site
Back in March she had a whole 20 minute segment about the town budget, and now her bio page is just a 404 error. I poked around and a Reddit thread from Fort Wayne said she made one comment on air about a sponsor's ad and the station pulled everything within 48 hours. Her old Instagram posts are gone too, all 900 of them, but her TikTok is still up and the comments are brutal. Does anyone know if that was her call or the station's, and does scrubbing a bio ever actually work?

People keep acting like a bio page going 404 is some kinda cover-up but that's just how websites work. Station sites get redone all the time and old staff pages break, plus if she's not employed there anymore why would they keep her up? The Instagram thing is weirder though, 900 posts gone is a lot and that's usually a person wiping it themselves, not a boss. TikTok still being up kinda proves nothing got "scrubbed" everywhere, she just left it.
