So I was on TikTok last Tuesday night when this makeup girl I used to follow posted a Notes app apology about some old tweets. Within two hours she lost 300,000 followers. By Wednesday morning she was down to 47. I kept refreshing because I couldn't believe how fast it happened. The wild part is she didn't delete the account, she just quietly turned off comments and stopped posting. It's been about three weeks now and she still hasn't come back. Anyone else ever watched a follower count drop that fast in real time?

That drop from 1.2 million to 47 in nine hours is brutal. I watched something similar happen to a small YouTuber back in 2021, she had maybe 80k subs and said one wrong thing on a livestream and it was gone in a day. The silence afterward is what gets me. No video, no explanation, just a dead account sitting there. Honestly I feel bad for her even if whatever she tweeted was dumb. Nobody deserves to lose everything they built in one night over old posts. Hope she's doing okay wherever she is.
