My coffee making moved from a simple drip machine to a manual grinder and scale
I remember when coffee was just about getting through the day. Now I find joy in the routine of preparing it each morning. What part of coffee culture drew you in?

That whole idea of turning a daily task into a little ritual, you know? It started with the coffee, like for you and karen_flores37 with the cafe sounds. Now I see it everywhere, like really focusing on folding laundry or even just tying my shoes slowly. It's about picking one boring thing and deciding to actually be there for it, which makes the whole day feel a bit more yours.

Oh man, my gateway was definitely the gear. I got way too into comparing burr grinders and it got silly fast. Now my morning routine feels like a science experiment I'm barely qualified to run.
