Used to eyeball my coffee ratios. Now I weigh everything since April.
I spent 10 years just scooping grounds into my Chemex. Then my brother got me a $30 scale for my birthday. Now I'm doing 28 grams of beans to 450 grams of water every morning. Has anyone else found their cup got way less bitter after switching?

Haha, right? It's wild how we all just wandered through life guessing on stuff like coffee and called it "fine." Now I can't even pour a cup without feeling like a mad scientist with my little scale. Next thing you know I'll be weighing my cereal like some kind of breakfast detective.

Totally, it's funny how measuring one little thing can change how you see everything. Kinda like how once you start paying attention to the little details, you notice all the other stuff you were just winging before.
